Vauxhall has been producing the supermini model called Corsa since 1993; in the UK it replaced the very popular Vauxhall Nova. The Corsa name was rolled out in the UK and replaced the Nova name to bring consistency throughout Europe, in some parts of Europe the Nova was already called the Corsa.
